This application seeks to amend the Australia New Zealand Food Standards Code to permit a new source of 2′-fucosyllactose (2′-FL) for use in infant formula products. Nutrition Labelling - Health Star Rating and Nutrition Information Panel
FSANZ is progressing work on nutrition labelling to better support consumers to make informed healthy food choices. A review of the nutrition information panel (NIP) and preparatory work to inform future decision-making on mandating the front-of-pack Health Star Rating (HSR) system is underway. FSANZ is calling for stakeholders to provide information and evidence to inform our work by 6pm (AEDT) 17 January 2025 through the Consultation Hub.
