This application seeks to amend the Australia New Zealand Food Standards code to include a definition, compositional requirements and requirement for a prescribed name, for honey produced by stingless bees native to Australia.

Food Standards Australia New Zealand (FSANZ) has approved an application to permit food derived from wheat line IND-00412-7, also known as 'HB4 wheat'. This wheat has been genetically modified (GM) to have tolerance to drought and the herbicide glufosinate. The Approval Report and assessment documents are available below. The purpose of this application is to seek for food derived from herbicide-tolerant soybean, genetically modified to provide tolerance to the herbicide glufosinate-ammonium and tolerance to herbicides that inhibit p-hydroxyphenylpyruvate dioxygenase (HPPD).
